Bloom Twins

Bloom Twins draw power from their bond. The Ukrainian-born and London-based duo of identical twins Anna and Sonya Kuprienko rally around an unpredictable and undeniable signature sound equally dependent on their respective identities. Growing up in Ukraine, music surrounded the girls. Mom worked as a vocal teacher, so Anna and Sonya spent the bulk of their childhood in classical music school. At 16-years-old, they shot a handful of modeling photos for fun and serendipitously wound up signing to an agency and moving to London. During their first six years in the UK, Anna and Sonya slowly but surely learned English and grinded in coffee shop and cafeteria jobs just to survive. Building an audience on Instagram, they caught the attention of top-tier brands, shooting for the likes of Bulgari, Burberry, and more. Plus, they appeared in Vogue Italy and Vogue Ukraine, among other publications. They never stopped writing and recording music though. The pair initially gained traction with “Fahrenheit” and 2014’s “Get up Stand up #WeAreUkraine.” On the heels of fan favorites “Talk To Me” and “Blue,” Benny Benassi tapped Bloom Twins for “DayDream,” piling up 3 million Spotify streams. On its heels, their collaboration with Jan Blolomqvist, “High On Beat,” gathered 4.6 million Spotify streams. Beyond gigs with Eels, LP, Duran Duran, Seal, and Nile Rodgers, FLAUNT hailed them as “artists in the true sense” in addition to further acclaim from Fashion Monitor, MTV, and The BBC. Evolving with a dark alternative pop vision now, they teamed up with Sam Harris of X Ambassadors to ignite their next era, beginning with the single “Drunk & Loud” and more to come.
