Leon Thomas

Leon Thomas, a Grammy-winning artist from Brooklyn, effortlessly bridges the worlds of music, acting, and production. In 2022, he signed with Ty Dolla $ign’s label EZMNY Records and made his debut in 2023 with the album Electric Dusk, featuring guest appearances by Victoria Monét, Benny the Butcher, and Ty Dolla $ign.

 

His sophomore album, MUTT, explores the complexities of love and ambition. The project includes collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Wale, Baby Rose, and Masego. In May 2025, Thomas released MUTT Deluxe: HEEL, a bold continuation of his second album, via EZMNY/Motown Records. The record expands his musical universe, blending psychedelic R&B, rock textures, and soul. HEEL features new collaborations with Kehlani, Big Sean, and Halle. While MUTT focused on duality, HEEL hones in on themes of solitude, connection, and self-revelation, characterized by tightly crafted compositions and a distinct artistic vision.

 

Thomas made his television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and his NPR Tiny Desk performance resonated widely online. In March 2025, he was named Billboard’s Chartbreaker and MTV PUSH’s Artist of the Month. In the fall of 2024, he joined Blxst on tour before embarking on his own completely sold-out headline tour in support of MUTT. Beyond music, Leon Thomas has also appeared in popular television shows such as Victorious (Nickelodeon) and Insecure (HBO).
