Nothing More

NOTHING MORE is an American rock band that combines intense energy with deep meaning. Their music blends powerful riffs, catchy choruses, and progressive sounds that attract fans of both alternative and classic rock.

The band consists of Jonny Hawkins (vocals), Mark Vollelunga (guitar), Daniel Oliver (bass), and Ben Anderson (drums). Their breakthrough 2014 album brought them widespread recognition, and later releases — including the GRAMMY-nominated The Stories We Tell Ourselves (2017) — solidified their position in the rock scene.

 

In 2022, they released SPIRITS, followed by their latest album CARNAL in 2024. CARNAL marks a return to heavier, guitar-driven sounds, with high-energy singles like “IF IT DOESN’T HURT” and “ANGEL SONG” (featuring Disturbed’s David Draiman). The album also includes collaborations with Eric Vanlerberghe (I Prevail) and Sinizter.

 

The lyrics were written during a time of personal change in Hawkins’ life, giving the songs authenticity and emotional depth. The band explores both philosophical and social themes, drawing inspiration from figures like Alan Watts, Carl Jung, and spiritual concepts.

 

NOTHING MORE is also known for their captivating live performances and spectacular stage setup — including their signature 14-foot MIDI controller, the “Scorpion Tail.” They’ve shared the stage with bands like Shinedown, Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin, and Asking Alexandria.

 

Currently promoting CARNAL, they are touring and winning over fans of bands like Linkin Park, Muse, and Deftones. NOTHING MORE isn’t just a rock band — they give rock meaning.
