Osamason’s 2025 LP Jump Out debuted at No. 151 on the Billboard 200, earned a Best New Music nod and 8.2 rating from Pitchfork, and received universal praise from Rolling Stone, XXL, Complex, PAPER, and The FADER, who knighted him "the closest thing rage-rap has to a Playboi Carti heir." His latest effort, Psykotic, was released less than a year later. Recorded almost entirely while on the 20-stop nationwide Jump Out Tour, Psykotic harkens back to his Flex Musik era, embracing the experimental sound that defined the early years of his career. In releasing both Pyskotic & Jumpout in the same year, Osamason joins the pursuits of greats like DMX and Future –– dropping a sequential pair of high-level, sonically independent records in the same year. With two back-to-back critically acclaimed albums and tours, the 22-year-old phenom is settling into his anointed role as a leader of the next generation of underground rap.
