Saam Sultan

At just 20 years old, the UK-based burgeoning rapper Saam Sultan is carving out one of the most distinctive sounds in the new underground, a style dedicated to creating a visceral listening experience. He began building out his career with his debut release, “Beginnings,” at the top of 2024. With his breakout track “ydoifeel?” Saam shines a light on the distinctive textures of cloud rap - hazy vocal samples, long stretches without drums, and dreamy, nearly drop-worthy tension - but with a fresh and current lens.
