The Lemonheads

After more than 15 years, The Lemonheads are back with new material. Their upcoming album Love Chant, recorded entirely in Brazil, is set for release in October 2025. It features all original tracks blending psychedelia, heavier tones, and quieter moments, with guest appearances from J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr) and Nick Saloman (The Bevis Frond).

 

Formed in Boston in 1986, the band has always revolved around Evan Dando — a charismatic songwriter known for his melodic, emotional pop with a punk edge. The Lemonheads rose to fame with albums like It’s a Shame About Ray and Come On Feel The Lemonheads, as well as their crossover hit cover of Mrs. Robinson.

 

After years of hiatus and side projects, Dando returns in top form — with a mature sound and sharp lyrical perspective. A European tour is planned for autumn 2025.
