Brass Against is a collective group of musicians who share the goal of creating music to inspire social and personal change.  Hailing from New York City, the nine-piece brass band is known for its exquisite arrangements of powerful rock sounds for brass instruments, while maintaining rapcore vocals and incredible energy.The band curates songs from a variety of influences from Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Run the Jewels as well as their own compositions in a heavy brass filled symphony. 

The band wants to connect people, convey emotions and original sounds. Their music is rock intertwined with hip-hop, which form a strong and distinctive whole. The artists carry political messages in their songs and activities. They are exasperated, ready for change and hope that their music will fill all listeners with energy. What motivates the Brass Against artists? Concerts where they feel the unique energy of the audience. 

Brass Against has toured extensively throughout the world playing shows and festivals and have shared the stage with Tool, Prophets of Rage, Lenny Kravitz, Living Colour, Royal Blood, Mike D (Beastie Boys), Ben Harper and more.
